The Lambertz-Nikolaus

Wolfgang Kimmig is the officially recognized and by Pope Benedikt XVI blessed successor of the Holy St. Nikolaus. In his Nikolaus robe he made it to his task to do good and help other people and this not only on 6 December. Due to his social engagement he was appointed honorary citizen of the Turkish town Myra, the home town of the historical St. Nikolaus. His mission takes him to kindergarten, schools, senior citizen homes, hospitals and hospices as well as firms and of course Christmas fairs.

A sign of gratitude from the Lambertz St. Nikolaus

The time before Christmas 2021 was the best and most impressive mission I ever fulfilled. My special thanks goes to all the people who made it possible: my hosts, my sponsors and companions and to all who appreciate the work I do. I am especially thankful to all the people whom I met during my mission and who affirmed that I am on the right path and that I was able to present a little of all we need so much: LOVE. With all my heart I do wish that this year may be peaceful and bright and bring happiness to all of you.

Gingerbread on St. Nicholas Day

As every year, Dr. Hermann Bühlbecker welcomed the Lambertz-Nikolaus to Lambertz in Aachen on December 6th.
